These Terms govern use of SDA Church App, operated by Elie Zedeck in Madagascar. By checking the required acceptance box and continuing, you agree to these Terms. The separate Privacy Notice explains personal-data processing.
SDA Church App is an independent administration tool. References to the Seventh-day Adventist Church describe its intended users and workflows and do not state that the App is an official product of the General Conference or any particular Church entity.
The App provides private, tenant-separated Church workspaces for membership books, attendance, departments, meetings, polls and voting, communications, treasury, receipts, transfers, history, and related Church administration. Features may evolve, and some functions may remain on different service providers during migration.
Each Church workspace is private to authorized users. Access to one workspace does not authorize access to any other Church's data.
Authorized Church leadership is responsible for deciding which records belong in its workspace, assigning appropriate roles, keeping records accurate, responding to requests about Church-controlled data, and following applicable Church policy and law. Religious affiliation and Church activity can be sensitive personal data, so access must be limited to people with a real need and valid authority.
The App does not decide Church membership, doctrine, discipline, elections, financial authorization, or internal governance. The relevant Church remains responsible for those decisions.
Church books and operational systems depend on continuity. Actions can therefore leave durable traces, including membership status, attendance, department participation, votes, financial transactions, transfers, approvals, and administrative history.
Deleting an App account removes the account and seeks to remove or de-identify its direct profile information where reasonably possible. In the current system, pending membership requests are removed and non-pending membership rows are de-identified when the deleted account is the sole owner of the linked person. Deletion can be blocked until another administrator is assigned if the account is the only administrator of a Church.
Account deletion does not require the App or a Church to destroy valid Church-book, transaction, audit, or historical records where doing so would make records false, break referential or financial integrity, affect other people, or defeat a legitimate retention duty. Unnecessary personal fields should still be removed or de-identified where reasonably possible. More detail appears in the Privacy Notice.
You must not:
The App relies on third-party infrastructure, including Google Firebase, Cloudflare, and SpacetimeDB. SpacetimeDB Maincloud operational data for this App is currently hosted in the United States. Provider policies can be reviewed through the links in the Privacy Notice and at SpacetimeDB Privacy and SpacetimeDB Terms.
Those links provide transparency about a provider. They do not make the provider's terms a substitute for these Terms, transfer the App operator's obligations to you, or replace any data-processing or international-transfer agreement required by law.
Essential crash and unexpected-error diagnostics are always enabled in installed release builds so the App can investigate security, startup, reliability, and account-specific failures. By accepting these Terms and using the App, you accept this required reporting as described in the Privacy Notice. It cannot be disabled while using the App. Usage Analytics and detailed App-added diagnostic context remain optional: you may decline them and still use the App, or change that choice later under Privacy choices. Restricted essential reports still include Firebase's automatic crash data, your Firebase Authentication UID when signed in, and non-identifying technical facts.
The App is provided on an as-available basis. Reasonable efforts are made to protect and maintain it, but uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, and permanent availability of every provider cannot be guaranteed. Keep any independent records or exports your Church is required to maintain.
Features or these Terms may change for security, legal, provider, or product reasons. A material new Terms version may require acceptance before continued use. No feature will be deliberately removed from an active workflow without appropriate notice where reasonably possible.
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to address unauthorized access, serious misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or harm to the service or other users. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time, subject to the historical-record rules above.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, internal Church decisions, records entered by users, unauthorized use caused by a user's credential handling, or third-party service interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Madagascar, without overriding mandatory consumer, privacy, or data-protection rights that apply where you live. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting the operator. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.
